The hidden garden is well named - to find it you need to leave your car and take a bucolic walk of 1.5km along a track through woods and then fields, with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. On arrival at the top of the hill you will skirt a rich orchard of native apples and pears, and finally discover the garden with its collections of Magnolias, Japanese Acers, Cornus, Buddleias, mixed borders and some unusual garden decor!
